Dear fellow searchers!
Since I started this post I have to give an update on my status regarding this question:

I’ve come across this plugin/widget that kinda solves the problem:

It’s called Facebook Like Box and it is a Facebook solution for putting content from a Facebook Page (not a personal profile but a “fan page”) on your blog. It has some limitations, but for me it is enough since it shows entries (status updates, pictures etc) and how many thumbs up the page’s got. And it does it as a widget wich I find suitable for my needs. Together with this little fix to get rid of the iframe border it works great for me:

I know this is not what all of you guys are looking for but maybe it suits some of you.
