  • Hi- just installed 1.0.2 and no errors , but still cant login to the first admin page…..
    The password turns up in the datbase – no problem- the user ip and domain are 127.0.0.1 ?
    A few more hints about server requirements would be a help, I have tried CHMOD the files to 766, without getting into the PHP i have run out of options… (MuTer< MT< MT) (Really would like a blog in PHP and not Perl)…

    Hi -same problems with 101 miles..
    OK I have reinstalled the wordpress 1.0.1 miles -this time i had a bunch of errors on the last page (as apposed to no errors with the nightly install) and still cant login with the supplied password. I have tried deleting the password from the database and still no Joy.
    I can give this 5 minute install one more night and then really must move on

    Hi- Thanks for the reply- this was actually the second build i tried, first had a bunch of errors during install and the same login problem , second try didn’t fly, but 3rd and latest build went fine with the same login problem. I never got to the admin page. tho i registered a few users who turned up in the database, all with weird 32 char passwords…
    without getting into the guts of the PHP i was hoping someone may have had experienced this one- well just deleted the lot,, next-
    anyone know were i can get the latest stable?
    (Linux Apache Version 1.3.29 (Unix) Perl Version 5.8.1 PHP Version 4.3.3 Mysql Version 4.0.18-standard)

    I have changed the password from mysqladmin and still no login, is this a server problem ? anyone awake ? anyone tried movabletype?
