In reply to: Blank posts in admin panel after installing 3.3.2Theresa… you should really post your own topic and not tag onto this one. Post a separate topic with all of the details that they’ll need to help you.

In reply to: Blank posts in admin panel after installing 3.3.2one update… one more thing wrong that I found is that I cannot ‘reply’ to comments in the admin panel either. When I hit reply, the screen just moves to the top and does not open the reply window. I can leave comments on my actual site though, just not in the admin view.
thanks!

In reply to: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this pageI’m sure at this point I wouldn’t have a lot to lose, except my site being down. Would you mind pointing me to the steps to install WordPress manually the correct way? haha. I just have to laugh at this point, or else I will cry. I haven’t posted anything since Friday when I infected a bunch of my readers with malware.
thank-you so much!

In reply to: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this pageThank-you macmanx… I looked and on wp_user_level the met_value for my admin logon is already set to 10. However I did notice that some things were named wp1 instead of wp so I was able to change those. Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to work and I still cannot see posts, comments, plugins when I log in…

In reply to: Manual install, says wordpress is already installedOk I am really hoping this is the last problem! 🙂 I reinstalled all of my plugins and my thesis template. I finally get to the login screen yaah! But now when logging in I recieve this message: ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page’.
I did a password reset, to no avail. Never seen this message before, have you?

In reply to: Manual install, says wordpress is already installedThank-you for this. The problem was that I had two versions of my tables in the database, the ones showing up on the site ‘wp’ and the ones that were the real tables were ‘wp1’. I had to go through and delete the wp tables and then rename the wp1 tables to wp, and it worked. My site is back up, yaah.
Unfortunately I still cannot get into my admin panel due to the ‘headers’ error below. I looked at others issues and it seems this is due to spaces being in the first page listed (in this case would be add-to-any.php:2) but I can’t see extra spaces at the top of that file. There were extra spaces at the bottom of the pluggable.php file, which I fixed. If I delete this plugin, the system just goes to the next plugin (akismet in this case) with the same error.
thank-you for reading this if you are!

In reply to: Manual install, says wordpress is already installedmacmanx… thanks for your reply! I tried the 2nd option that you said, but could not get to my admin panel after doing that. It redirected me to this address instead: http://www.thenourishingcook.com/wordpress-2.8.6/wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade.php/?_wp_http_referer=/wp-admin/
I would rather do your option 2, but do you know why I was getting the redirect when attempting to go to http://thenourishingcook.com/wp-admin?
fyi I never even saw the admin log in screen the redirect was prior to that.
