    Update: I installed PHP 7.0.10 and it activated fine. It looks like it doesn’t support php 5.3.3, which is default for CentOS 6.9 (latest 6.x with all updates). I would upgrade it to CentOS 7, but my VPS provider doesn’t have the capability to reinstall the OS.

    I have the exact same issue on one of my . Nothing else is displayed, just “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

    I actually installed it a week or two ago on a different site and it installed ok. I was also able to update tonight and it completed without issue.
