For the truly lazy (like me), here’s a “drop in” version that works with multisite without needing to update the theme.

In reply to: Can i have microaudio play some audio links, but not others?Hmmm,
Not at the moment, although it might be possible to do something like that.
Visit the project tracker and open a ticket I’ll try to work it in to the next version or two.

In reply to: [Plugin: µAudio Player] Works perfectlyYeah, it’s one of the only domains that I hadn’t transfered to my company account, and as such, . . .
The new version will be out by the end of the week. Try out a dev version from the trunk. It’s almost ready.

In reply to: [Plugin: µAudio Player] newbie help1) Just create a plain old link < a href . . . to the audio file
2) Not quite yet. I just tested it today in Firefox on the 0.7 branch, but OGG support may be pushed back until 0.8 (Due in November).

In reply to: [Plugin: µAudio Player] add songsThe target needs to be accessible over the internet. That is to say, if you visit http://mysite.com/somfile.mp3 it needs to load.
One of the easy ways to see this is using firebug. Watch the requests and make sure that they don’t 404.

In reply to: [Plugin: µAudio Player] How to stop playback? Thanks for this, I’m filing this as a bug report. In most browsers, this is not the behavior — it should stop playing when the player disappears.

In reply to: [Plugin: µAudio Player] plays file in new windowThis get’s filed under my “very weird” O-meter:
Your website is producing a “403 Forbidden” Error when the page tries to load the script. I have to say, I don’t really know why/how this is happening, as this is NOT normal behavior. What’s weird about it is that it is loading another script out of the same folder just fine.
With a little bit of research, however, it appears that host gator does not allow any scripts which have http:// in the query string.
This is a needless security measure, but I will come out with a version of the script that can skirt this arbitrary restriction.

In reply to: [Plugin: µAudio Player] Works perfectlyI’m going to be adding an option to “stop all” in a future version.
I’m glad you like it though.
