I solved the problem at least temporarily by disabling AJAX in My Calendar Scripting.
I got to the page when I navigated the calendar using the Day setting. When I try to get to a date with an event taking place my entire site disappeared leaving just the My Calendar APP. That is the only time this happened, and now that I disabled AJAX the plug-in works fine.
