In reply to: Stupid Internet ExplorerOh, great, thanks!
I will try those tools. I have eliminated the script error, which was a result of the Titles plugin actually. Once I deactivated FlashyTitles, the error was gone. I guess Flashy Titles wasn’t meant to be!
I, for the life of me, cannot figure out that left margin on the sidebar though. It’s giving me a headache!!!
Thanks again.

In reply to: Stupid Internet Explorersorry i didn’t mean to write ‘overtime’ there, it should have just read ‘over’. Wow, was I tired when I posted that. But, seriously, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Most of my users will likely come in using Internet Explorer, so I’d like the site to look right if possible.

In reply to: CSS question I guessDoes anybody have any knowledge on this??? Please?

In reply to: CSS question I guessThose are excellent suggestions, thanks for them! My only problem is that I am using Scott’s Customizable Posts Listing plugin – http://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/08/27/plugin-customizable-post-listings/ to make the call for the post date and title. Long story short, it won’t allow me to place <div> or <span> tags in the format section. Here’s what the code is:
<?php c2c_get_recent_posts ($num_posts = 3,
$format = "<strong>%post_date%</strong> - %post_URL%<br />",
$categories = '4',
$orderby = 'date',
$order = 'DESC',
$offset = 0,
$date_format = 'm/d/Y',
$authors = '',
$include_passworded_posts = false); ?>The function tag allows some code (strong, br, etc.) but won’t allow divs or spans, or I get a parse error.
I saw on his comments page that there is a way to limit the number of characters in an excerpt by editing the plugin, could this possibly be accomplished in terms of limiting the number of characters returned in the title?
Hopefully someone might be able to toss in their 2 cents on the matter! Thanks again.

In reply to: Strange actions….Ok, I figured out the root of the problem, but I still don’t understand why this would make a difference.
One of my test posts is a review done using “Structured Blogging”. Somehow, the title is given special attributes by this plugin is what I’m thinking and therefore isn’t made to veer left like the others. Is there any way to fix this do you figure?
I look forward to hearing from you!

In reply to: Alignment of themeYou guys are all Gods amongst men – especially you, BPartch – thanks!. I have edited the image and changed the black at the end to fit with the grey that I like instead, and voila! Thanks so much, I can’t say it enough!!!!!

In reply to: Alignment of themeThanks for the fast response! I had extended that before, but as you can see all that does is extend the text, which carries right over the black column that I created. I’d like the background of where that post is to expand as well, which it doesn’t.
Any other ideas? Thanks again.
