In reply to: Completely lost access to site (was running fine)Hi all – situation is resolved. Thought I would mention here that the problem seemed to be created by Yahoo. From what I can gather, domain name was originally purchased in 2005 through Yahoo, acting a reseller to MelbourneIT, the domain registrar. Sometime after 2005, hosting was set up with someone called Alentus who changed the DNS records to their servers. I came in a couple of years ago and built the WP site at a third location and redirected from Alentus to the new site. It seems in November, Yahoo dropped service for it’s Small Business Services, which didn’t affect the site, but then Yahoo reinstated support in December and reassigned the DNS records from Alentus to Yahoo servers. It took quite awhile to figure all of this out, but I reestablished control of the domain, changed the nameservers back to Alentus, and the site is back. Next I will consolidate hosting between the two providers to make it easier to manage in the future. Thanks for all your help. Judi

In reply to: [Quotes Collection] [Plugin: Quotes Collection] Align Left not workingThanks for the response. I changed plugins as you suggested, but don’t find a way to specify alignment in th0ths-quotes either.
I have loaded this plugin on two sites with two different results – left-aligned on one and centered on the other. So I have to assume the display settings for the sidebar come from CSS.
Anyway, glad to know about a different plugin. Thanks!

In reply to: “Leave a Comment” link won’t disappearHi. I am using WP 3.0.1 + Twenty Ten 1.1
I removed the code shown above (from James MacManX) from loop.pho in order to remove all comments/comment fields from my site – no go.
All of the boxes are empty in Discussion Settings.
Would really like to remove all trace of comments from this site …
Thanks for your help.
