  • Yup, manually inputting the [http:] resolves the issue here too. Both old and new code.

Same issue here. 🙁 Seems to work fine with other providers like Daily Motion, just not youtube videos. I tried using both the old code & iframe code. Neither worked. I have also tried using v 1.8.2 and leaving the title out of the post. Neither solutions work to resolve the issue. When manually going to the post and clicking “Search Again” to add the thumbnail I get the following. “We didn’t find a video thumbnail for this post”. Even older post which previously had thumbnail images will say the same thing if I reset them and try to find a new thumbnail.

Here is an example of the code I am posting.

    <iframe width=”853″ height=”480″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/AL8ZGEyBuNs?rel=0″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

Deactivated WP Security plugin and that seems to have corrected the issue. Problem must be somthing within this plugin & how it is interacting with the WP Security plugin. Funny thing is that I did not see this behavior until using the Video Thumbnails pugin. Before installing Video Thumnails plugin my post worked fine with WP Security enabled. If anyone has had this exp and can shend any light it would be much appreciated.,:)
