tried the permalinks. no-go. and as for getting hung up, that’s exactly what i was thinking too, but until now i can’t figure out what part of the progression is either gone or changed, causing the error.
follow up, had this code all by itself in a random htaccess file that had no other code in it AddType application/x-httpd-php52 .php
commented it out, and it worked.
i don’t have that addhandler line in my htaccess file. any other ideas? i’m having the exact same problems accessing the themes, plugins, core updates.
btw the site is not hosted on arvixe.
