Wasn’t using the POST scope for the region_id. Some guy at StackOverflow pointed that out and it’s working now. 🙂

In reply to: Home page is using page.php instead of home.php. Argh.

Oops. The Home page was using the Default template. Setting it to use the Home template got things working correctly.
