In reply to: [Gallery – Photo Albums Plugin] Thumbnail OrderI looked at this video yesterday and it doesn’t address the way the gallery is setup.
How can I change the “Order” number? This would solve my problem! The ones at the top are all set to zero, hence the issue.
Please help, we’re so close! lol

Off topic for this thread, but has anyone used the premium version and would care to elaborate on your experience?

I found the thread I referenced here. The response from Yoast could be considered tepid at best, underwhelming at least. Amazed they closed it as “Resolved.”

Read your thread and can relate. On 12/16 I updated to Yoast version 5.2.8, which has issues with WP 4.0 & 4.1. I added a comment to a thread (which I have been unable to locate now after a brief search) but there were 100’s of people experiencing the same issue.
I had my database admin revert my site to the previous version and it has all worked as it was prior to the update to Yoast plugin.
The old version is the answer. The lack of response from Yoast has been a shock to me. If they won’t address it, people will move on. It’s too bad, I quite liked Yoast.
Same issue here, neither method works. Reverting to previous version.

As far as the file path you included, how can I make the fix take affect? What do I need to edit there?

I am having the exact same issue. When trying to place a gallery on a page by clicking the “G” button, the “Order Media By” drop down menu does not work. “Select” is the only option, and when you click the drop down, no other options come up. Only “Select” is available, which does nothing.
What is the solution? Please help.
Also, I am not sure what version (Lite or Pro) I have, so I posted here. Let me know how I can discern that and I am happy to share with you as well.
Please help. Thank You.
