Zeo, You are right. Was just coming back here to report that the problem was that I didn’t infact delete the file to my hard drive… i must have just copied it. I went back in with my ftp client and deleted the folder. Issue resolved! Thank you!!

Thank you for such a quick reply!! Perhaps I don’t understand. If I remove the zenlite files from my server shouldn’t that solve the issue?
And do you know of a way to change the theme if I can’t login to the dashboard?

Thanks for the links. Curiously, I didn’t find either one of those links in my search.
I solved the issue. turns out that I had an empty folder named “about” in the root folder of my server that I couldn’t see through the WP dashboard. I went in with my FTP client and deleted it. Now it works as desired!
