I had a similar problem, possibly the same. When I click on password reset on the profile page, I get the message that the page does not exist. This is the case when the profile page is hidden.
When the page has the status blocked it will work.
Thank you for the answer and explanation. The option “membership products enabled” was checked on (out of ignorance). I have turned the opion off and everything works as again.
