Hi Jeremy I tried that, no dice unfortunately.
Not sure what the issue is but I ended up using a separate plugin for markdown. Not idea but not much I can do at this stage 🙁

Just a thought that occurred to me, the post I am trying to import has a “Date” field which is set to some date in the past (20160316 in this case). Does Markdown look at dates to determine whether to apply the markdown to the text? Maybe compare it to the date Markdown was enabled?
