Just was trying to report what happened was all. I’ll see if I can’t reproduce it some time, but to be honest I’ve been hesitant to mess with it since I didn’t want to go back to edit all my posts again. And just to confirm, this was on the latest WordPress install, latest Twenty-Twenty Five theme. Only had 2 plugins active at the time (Akismet and WPFront Scroll Top)
I don’t have any custom filters enabled and didn’t edit any specific image block/pattern. It was just making edit to the page/post templates – mostly focused on the width of a post on the page. After I made edits and saved the them, I lost all the click to enlarge functions on posts. And these were all changes made within WordPress and not via code.
