In reply to: Learning More: Installing WordPressAs a side note, if you enter the password incorrectly, it tell you it’s wrong. If you enter it correctly, it accepts it (I assume) and tries to redirect you to the admin page, but it doesn’t make it there

In reply to: Learning More: Installing WordPressHey, here’s the answer to the bluedomino guy: bluedomino doesn’t use localhost. Change your config to say mysql.bluedomino.com, and it’ll install.
Then you’ll get to where I am, which is where it gives you a username and password, and when you try to login to wordpress with it, it just wipes the username/password screen, and sends me
to <blogdir>/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Fspiveyscorner%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php
which, instead of redirecting me to the admin page, just blanks out
the username & password boxes.
