Hi Samuel,
Thank you very much for your help! I added some custom CSS to change it back and it’s working fine for me! But I’m still wondering that it’s coded like that per default for the Twenty Sixteen theme…

@open5g Thank you very much for your thoughts but I just corrected the ownership permissions when I had some issues with a Piwik installation. Finally, a manually update is working fine now (thanks @staartmees)… but this does not explain the issues my WordPress installation and/or my web server has with the automatically update procedure while not able to create directories etc. Edit: @jaycbrf, switching back to any WordPress theme unfortunately didn’t solve the automatically installation failure.
