In reply to: The word echo on every page!I have the original theme files and there is no code like this in header.php (which is where I found the offending code). I will check all the other files.
I just deleted some 300 comments held for moderation, is it possible that one of them contained the code? I turned off commenting altogether and deleted the (long outdated and not very germane) posts that had been commented upon.

In reply to: The word echo on every page!I just deleted the code and now everything is working.
Interestingly, the only way I was alerted to this was that I couldn’t see the site unless my virus protection was turned off – it must have detected this malicious code. Is there any chance I was hacked? Now that I have deleted the code I can see my site again even when it’s on.

In reply to: The word echo on every page!OK. Thank you. I will contact him. In the mean time, can anyone recommend a quick fix for the next 2 weeks? We have a big event May 11, after which I have time to redesign the site.

In reply to: Background image problems on resize, iphone/ipadThanks, zabatonni! I was able to solve the problem a few weeks ago by specifying the dimensions of the background in the css to override the safari resizing.
I will try to fix syntax errors – I am a musician not a designer so am not sure how to do most of it, but thanks so much for the validator link!

In reply to: iPad Safari resizes background imageHi!
I’m having this exact problem – site looks great on all platforms but background resizes on ipod and ipad.
Can you tell me where to insert the above code? I’m using Weaver 2011.

Thank you!

In reply to: Mysterious dotSome fiddling in the widget area seems to have solved it. First I moved the MIT logo up under the constant contact sign up box, essentially combining two text boxes. Then the dot appeared up next to the Facebook logo. So just for the heck of it I put a
- tag at the beginning of that text (HTML really) box and that seems to have fixed it… for now.
I am noticing that sometimes deleting a widget and recreating it solves a lot of weirdnesses…
