Thanks for the reply.
I haven’t, for two reasons. It seems the directory path on the server isn’t completely correct (nothing updates automatically) and the theme we use is a heavily modified premium theme that my boss would kill me for destroying should I do so.
The site is updated. I just hoped to eliminate that warning from appearing.
MySQL recommends upgrading from 4.0 to 4.1 first. I’m looking into this because I’m in your same situation with the same host.
if you currently are running MySQL 4.0 and wish to upgrade to a newer series, upgrade to MySQL 4.1 first before upgrading to 5.0, and so forth.

It sure would have been great if the download page had warned that 2.9 would only install on MySQL version 4.1 or higher. For now I’m sticking with the last version.
