Go to your plugins list, click ‘edit’, then ‘uninstall.php’ and follow the the instructions in the above thread. Once you’ve done that, go to your plugins list again and delete as you normally would.
I’ve also got this problem. I’ve even tried deleting the folder from ‘wp-content’ yet still it remains in my plugins list. I have tried deleting from the plugin page and also the settings page. Neither have worked.
Hi, thanks for taking to time to respond. I sent the guy who originally installed WP a message, and he came back with this:
“It wasn’t due to the plugins but something to do with the way the server was configured a php module called suhosin needed to be disabled.”
All is now ok, thought I’d drop this message in just in case someone else has a similar problem.
