Simple Tweet does the job! You can configure it to include or exclude the title, post content, and linkback. Plus it will automatically incorporate tinyurl or the link consolidator of your choice. It works perfectly!

I’m looking for this too. I want to tweet my actual posts with a URL back to my post. I don’t want the title in the tweet.
I was having a similar problem and found a solution.
When you paste in the HTML code, do NOT hit the Visual tab before you publish it. If you do that, WordPress will “correct” your code and chances are it won’t appear properly.
If you paste into HTML and then Save or Publish, you should see it working properly.
