I am also having the same issue. The correctly formatted email goes out as well as a second email that says (<p>Thank you for filling out this form.</p>).
Reporting as broken. Author’s forum also will not let me register to report problem there. Reverted to old working version 1.3.2.
Tested in Chrome and IE – same results.
