In reply to: questions prior to upgradingSorry to be so obtuse on this stuff. The original wordpress instalation was automatically set up when I signed up for my domain, and not being much of a techie, I’m kinda feeling my way along here.
One more ‘novice’ question about uploading the new files. When I unzipped the upgrade, it defaulted to this directory tree:
wordpress/
wp-admin
wp-content
wp-includes
But in the original set-up, as stated above, on the domain its:
ROOT/jayjerome.com/
wp-admin
wp-content
wp-includesWhen I upload the new files, can I change the directory name on my harddrive from ‘wordpress’ to ‘jayjerome.com’ and copy it all in one operation; or do I have to individually copy the files in each directory to the existing directories on the domain?

In reply to: Unable to locate img. tags in style sheetIt’s no fun when it’s that easy!!
solved and resolved!!!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Unable to locate img. tags in style sheetive tried to send the copy of the CSS.STYLE file to pastbin.com again, unsuccessfully. When I ‘send’ the little hourglass comes up, but the file won’t send.
Still trying to figure out how to change the img. tags if no image tags are in the style sheet. Without any, is the default to put a border around images posted to the page? And if so, can I simply add img. tags to the css.style file, and what would they be?
note: the image problem is evident on the front page of my site: http://www.jayjerome.com
and suggestions?

In reply to: Unable to locate img. tags in style sheetsite still not working properly – can paste the sheet but it won’t save it — tries to, but the clock keeps ticking, and after a minute or so I gave up and clicked the stop loading page command. It’s late, maybe I’ll try to post it again tomorrow…
