  • I use the x-ref method as mentioned. Just make sure you make a copy of your title block from where you keep it and move it to in the drawing folder so when you change it you aren’t changing every title block on every drawing you ever did. I like to rename the title block from my standard “title_block 24×36” to “title_block 24×36 PROJECT NAME” that way if I make a change I know for sure I’m editing the correct thing. This makes it easy to have changes go across all sheets. The few fields that are different or don’t get changed on each sheet I have a separate block with attributes for. That block can be dropped into each sheet and it contains the drawing title, drawn by:, and the sheet number. Those get added when I first make the layout tab and then don’t usually get changed unless I add something to a current tab.

    When I send a drawing out to a consultant instead having to send my title block so the x-ref doesn’t break I just bind it which just makes it a block. Which is what kent1cooper suggested as a possible solution. Sometimes if I have many x-refs I’ll just bind it to make it a block just to eliminate an x-ref too.So if you use the x-ref method and want to simplify it then it is easy enough to change to the block method.

    I can’t back up my site or do any of what you suggest, because I cannot get into the administrative section of my blog. I can view it, as a viewer, but I have no access to anything more. I also cannot find anyway to contact people from wordpress! Help!?!!

    I am planning to start a blog for my just launched website, it’s a website for posting classifieds with a lot of subdomains (each country in the world has a subdomain connected to my website. Exhample: us.example.com, uk.example.com)

    I plan to start the blog for SEO purpose, so my question is, how should I put it;

    1. blog.example.com

    2. example.com/blog

    3. example.blog (I checked and .blog domain is available for my site)

    Please answer from the point view of SEO
