You would just set the restriction on the restricted content to level 1 through s2member and then only people with that level of access would be able to see it.
You could have the different levels of content on separate pages or you can use short codes and put it all on one page and just hide the level 1 content from the level 0s.
Does that answer your question?
Did you make sure to log out of your admin account before testing to see if it was hidden?
When you create a custom profile field in the general options area of s2,there is a dropdown option titled “Allow Profile Edits”…One of the options there is “Yes (editable after registration/invisible during registration)”
I found the Mailchimp integration to be pretty seamless and works very well for us.
We use the pro version and I know that registration and payment are handled together as one process so there is no need for any redirecting as they are already on the site and are just asked to click to log in with the already provided information.
You would have to test this but I think if you change these two numbers in the generated shortcode it would work for 28 days.
rp=”1″ rt=”D” (This is for 1 Day as generated by s2member)
rp=”28″ rt=”D” (I would guess this would work for 28 days).
Custom fields are easy to add with s2member. You also have options on if these are visible or editable to by the user after registration. The data is stored in a column in the user field that is exportable.
Each processor supported has the option of monthly, yearly, lifetime etc etc and are very easy to automatically create.
As far as I know, s2 only protects the content or things that are on your website (specific pages and things like that). If they have to actually be on the website to use the software (like when you use gmail you have to go log into gmail) it should work fine…it it’s something where they only have to log in to download and then they don’t have to log back in to actually use the product, I’m not sure if s2member supports that or at least I haven’t seen it and I’ve spent way too long in these forums lol
This might help?
Are you giving it enough time to show up in MailChimp? When I was initially testing I thought it wasn’t working but after giving it 10-15 minutes, people started showing up in Mail Chimp.
So to answer 3 questions…
1- Yes
2- Try above or maybe give some more detail about what is going on/what you tried.
3- Worked for me, the hacks I only needed to do additional things with EOT dates and stuff like thatI was able to accomplish this by integration with Mailchimp through the listserve section of s2member. You then have Mailchimp send reminders based around a certain date, the EOT date.
You do have to force the EOT date to be sent through a must use plugin because S2 only sends name and email.
I am having the same problem and have been for some time. Were you able to make any headway on this issue?
Any reason not to just use the pro forms to sell things?
I’m trying to find delete post on this one. I forgot we had custom work done, I should sleep more.
Disregard post please 🙁

In reply to: [Standout Color Boxes and Buttons] change font?Would there be an easy way to change the font color with this? Sometimes the white is difficult to read.
Thanks for your help 🙂
Just dug a little deeper; it looks like user that are registering on the site now (including free ones) are creating with a subscriber ID which I would assume will probably work with the demotion (I’ll be testing a 1 day just in case).
My question then is how would I go back and fix the uploaded userbase or is it time to roll up the sleeves and manually do them? When I uploaded them, there was an EOT date put in that populated correctly but no subscriber ID. Should this have worked without the subscriber ID?
