I would recommend using the Schema Creator by Raven plugin so it will add the info to the site for you. Then use Google’s structured data testing tool to verify it’s in place
You need to add/edit the meta description in the <head> section so that search engines can pull that data. The easiest way to do this is to use the Yoast SEO plugin or something similar.
