In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Sending issuesDownload failed. error:0D0890A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_verify:unknown message digest algorithm
And these aren’t Postman errors. There’s something wrong with your site.
The Plugin Download code is part of WordPress core. If I had to guess I would say your OpenSSL is broken. Perhaps contact your host support.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Character problems in additional fieldIf you own an email with non-ascii characters, perhaps you would be kind enough to try my live contact form then (powered by Postman + CF7).

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Encoding issuesLike this guy did, you could install Postman SMTP and post the session transcript here so we can see exactly what you site is sending. Just remove your AUTH LOGIN or AUTH PLAIN credentials from the text.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Character problems in additional fieldI never seen an email from a domain with special characters (this kind of domains aren’t a good idea).
This is not correct. There are several RFC’s (5335, 6530, 6531, 6532, 6533) that deal with non-ASCII characters in domains. 6530 is a published RFC.
See http://stackoverflow.com/a/760151
I was wondering if you guys would try my SMTP plugin with your international characters enabled and see if it works? I would love feedback.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Encoding issuesCan you try my contact form to make sure it’s a sending problem, not a receiving problem? (You will get a copy)

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Visitor using hotmail, gmail & yahoo email addressSender: noreply@currentdomain.com
It is not for the MUA to set the Sender header. Get rid of it.
I receive an error from contact7 – IE a red “Failed to send your message…” and it doesn’t send.
It is more helpful if you can tell us why the message didn’t send. If you install this plugin, Postman SMTP, you can inspect the full error in the Email Log and post it here.
As for best practices:

In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Gmail keeps changing the APIthis round instead of using smtp.gmail.com it uses smtp.googleapis.gom:465
Your results are suspicious. Would you please post a session transcript from one of the emails that resulted in XOAUTH2 authentication mechanism not supported.
is there any possibility once postman detected error when delivering email
it could notify owner using alternative smtp or contact method so we could fix itThis is a planned feature, but I don’t think this is your issue. I have a feeling your host is playing a trick on you.

In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Gmail keeps changing the APII’m not sure what you mean. Once the configuration is set, it should never change. Can you describe the problem you’re having? Are you using the same Client ID on more than one WordPress site?

In reply to: WP Email SMTP problemC:\inetpub\wwwroot\Carpolaw V2\wp-includes\pluggable.php
Postman says it is being blocked by pluggable.php
This means you have a poorly coded plugin (or theme) on your system playing with the WordPress bootstrap order. This can be a security problem. My suggestion is to deactivate all the plugins and switch to the default theme, then re-activate one at a time until you find the plugin that causes the problem. Then we can figure out what to do from there.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Message sent success but not receiving messagesYour from: field is missing the email address
[your-name] <[your-email]>If your localhost is your own computer (and not a Mac and not Linux), then you’ll need an SMTP plugin to send the mail. https://wordpress.org/plugins/postman-smtp/

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Sender's message was failed to sendHad to change the from and to field to the registered email address too.
Neither should be necessary at Bluehost. Contact Form emails won’t send with my Visitor’s Email Address
