@bcworkz
@jan DembowskiSuper work guys, thanks for the help.
Although I was no where near the mark with the fault, you guys narrowed it down and I learnt a lot along the way.
Thanks again! http://www.broadtune.com.au is officially launched!
@james Huff – stifling generosity in the face of liability isn’t a real good quality bro, but I understand the official position of the forum.

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyns1.onlydomains.com is my dns fwiw.

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyNope! Still playing up.
I can’t access it locally without a etc/hosts line for broadtune.com.au as a local IP either.
Can you confirm you are still resolving broadtune to 180.181.38.200, because that is obviously A problem, if not THE problem.

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyFingers crossed it’s just a delay.

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyAlso, I had to setup a hairpin/loopback in order to get broadtune.com.au working internally. That was easy enough though.
Looks to have been my DNS settings all along!

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyOK so I have fixed the DNS. It was pointing WWW all to 180.181.38.200 like above!
I suspect it will be apples now?!?!

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyJan, I do have a static IP FWIW. I also used to use no-ip until I bought a domain name.
So the website is up now, and works great from all accounts and some remote testing done by me (RDP to work) and some friends. This is with URL/HOME set to http://180.181.153.86
As soon as I change my URL/HOME address to http://broadtune.com.au the original problem arises.

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyI should add, it is now on ubuntu server VM now and XAMPPS has been removed

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyHi guys! Thanks again for all the effort.
I (yet again) nuked my DB and /var/www/html/. directory and installed fresh.
This time I installed fresh from a remote PC with the URL/HOME set to my WAN IP 180.181.153.86.
It has seemed to have worked this time, probably due to me setting my WAN ip not the domain as the HOME/URL.
http://180.181.153.86 should return a fairly basic but formatted site.
I now ask you to try http://broadtune.com.au and see how that looks also.
It might be something to do with my domain (onlydomains.com.au) and how it forwards broadtune?
Ofcourse I can’t see the website locally, but I’ll work on a hairpin route once I get the remote side up and running.

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyOK so it is hosted on my windows 10 machine with XAMPP like mentioned. Vanilla wordpress installed also.
Port is forwarded to my machine now too.
It is behaving the same from what I can see. I had already done this test with another windows 8.1 machine previously with the same result.
phpinfo() and stock apache pages work fine on all servers FWIW.
Router is a mikrotik, which are i guess a prosumer level device. Certainly above a standard dlink or belkin.
Thanks again for looking so deep in to this for me!

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyThanks for the help guys! Very thorough.
Could it be the router?

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyInterestingly, it works OK when I have my server internal IP 192.168.1.50 specified in hosts file in windows!

In reply to: Site CSS/JS not working remotelyFWIW, it is quite literally a wp-latest, unpacked to html/wordpress and setup as per some guides on the internet. No where did I select frames for formatting.
It is potentially something I have done during the install, but unlikely because I have tried a bunch of different times from fresh versions and even fresh VM builds.
Thanks again for the help.

Frames are not my decision, it’s just a stock template 2016 or a downloaded one.
180.181.153.86 is my IP, broadtune.com.au is a masked forward to it.
How do I ditch the frames?
