Can you tell me where i’d find the ability to create a different recipe type separate to post types?

That did fix the issue but is that the only way of making them visible?
Is that the only option? i wanted to differentiate it from posts so that i could use them separately to blog articles
please advise when going to look at site, as it is under construction atm and i have to disable the plugin.
