Thank you for looking into this for me. It could also work like this:
1. Grant Role A and Role B at the start of membership period. New content is released each day to members, so I send email with a link to new content each day to members with role A.
2 At end of the membership, only remove Role A (so the user does not get any new content) but leave Role B in place so that the links in emails to the content released during the membership will still allow access to that content.
So with Role B still in place, people who bought that membership during that time period would still have access to content they bought during that membership
