Hello @sebewa,
My apologies but for the Lite version, please exclude this JS files instead:
/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/assets/js/wpforms.jsand not/wp-content/plugins/wpforms/assets/js/wpforms.js.I hope this helps.
Hello @sebewa,
This usually happens when you have the script minification enabled in the Autoptimize plugin which at times, breaks the Javascript codes causing the issue that you’re getting.
If you want to use Autoptimize, please consider the following:
1. Exclude WPForms’ assets from JS optimization by going to the Exclude scripts from Autoptimize field to add
/wp-content/plugins/wpforms/assets/js/wpforms.js2. Disable the Optimize JavaScript Code option, save settings, and then clearing the cache (before retesting).
I hope this helps.
Hello @srshaw3,
A possible option to do this for the Lite version is to make use of the Description setting of the fields. Please check here for more details.
Please note that in our paid version, you will have access to fields such as the HTML field that will allow you to add a non-input items to your form to act like a guide text on your form.
I hope this helps.
Hi @ckka,
Thanks for writing in.
There are some option you can take so that you will be able to override the WPForms styling through CSS.
1. Firstly, you can increase the level of specificity of your CSS selectors so that even if your style.css file loaded before the WPForms stylesheet, you CSS will be given precedence.
For example, the following selector comes with the WPForms stylesheet:
div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=text]To override this, you can write your selector as:
body div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=text]2. If you are working on a child theme, you can instead consider checking and making sure that your theme’s CSS is enqueued last.
3. Change the Include Form Styling setting of your setup. Please check here for more details.
I hope this helps.

Hi @davide_sd,
Thanks for writing in!
We currently do not have a filter that will allow you to add extra divs to wrap the fields.
However, would you mind mentioning what exactly you are trying to do? Perhaps we can provide a workaround through CSS.
Thank you.
Hello @vejapixel,
Thanks for writing in.
Please follow this guide on how to customize your email notifications.
I hope this helps.
Hi @scarlet522,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.
If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
To resolve email delivery issues like this, you will really have to setup a good SMTP on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
I hope this helps!
