In reply to: Changing email which is used for admin purposesI would like to add that I am using an Internet Explorer 8.0 version an I can change successfully all admin settings except the email address. What should I do to change it – I want different address to apear as a sender of , for example, recover emails.

In reply to: Changing email which is used for admin purposesWell, the new one doesn’t show up – I still see the one that I replaced by another 🙁 But the strangest thing is that , in fact, it has been changed. On the log in site I chose “forgot password” option, typed the new email address and I got a recovery email message but when I tried to type the old email address there was an error “no such email address registered”. Anyway I still don’t understand why in admin settings I can see only the old address (no matter how many times I type the new one, saving changes and refreshing site)? And also, as a sender of recovery email I can see my old eddress… I’m a bit confused and still wanna definitely change an e-mail on admin settings.

In reply to: Changing email which is used for admin purposesI managed to change in admin – users – your profile , but I can’t change it in admin – settings – general (although I am an admin). I type new address, press “save changes”, get message “your changes has been saved” but still see the old adrress in e-mail box and don’t get any e-mail message to confirm new adrress. For me it is hard to understand why it doesn’t change the e-mail. Is it, form example, something wrong with my internet explorer or something?
