I just asked in case there is a way to enable it now.
However, since it’s already in your future plans then yeah I will just wait until that comes out.
Keep up the great work!

In reply to: Registered User Creating a stricly structured PageWell this is a very short – and incomplete – answer but…
It looks like your best option is a custom post type with custom fields.
As for the custom post type you can read more on that here: Post types
And for the custom fields, you can read about those here: Custom Fields
In a nut shell you would create a custom post type “Tips and Tricks” and create the required fields within that post using Custom fields.
Once you have managed that, you would then need to choose how to display your custom posts and how everything looks.
Given that “Tips and Tricks” is a custom post type, you will then be able to create an “archive” that would show all the posts with that particular custom post type.
You can also create an archive of a specific custom post which the current user has authored.
You can then tweak the permissions and grant editing rights and what not to the author and admin only.
Let me know if you have further questions

Hello @n1ck0
Your problem sounds like mixed content
If you want to verify, when you have the media library open, press the f12 key on your keyboard to see the dev tools. If you look at the log section, most of the time it’s in the bottom right corner, you should see a bunch of “mixed content” errors.
The easiest way I know of to fix this is the plugin Really Simple SSL
Let me know if you need more help.

In reply to: Can’t Edit Home Page – Struggling with everything!I understand.
No need to apologise, that was an good read.
I only mentioned things like YouTube just to bring your attention to them.
On the off chance that you’re still interested in your old website, I think you can salvage most of it.
As the saying goes… if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Check the internet archives for your website prior to your upgrades. I guess around the end of 2014?
Australian Workshop Creations – Archive Dec 2014
That way you don’t have to start from scratch at least.
Update the post once the internal error is solved and I’d be happy to take a look.

In reply to: Can’t Edit Home Page – Struggling with everything!I don’t even know why I am writing this… but here goes.
I would like to help, but I can’t get your website to load. It sounds like the link is placed there by a plugin of some sort or as part of a theme function.
It sounds like you’ve had a tough time with the old design “professionals” that set up your website. I hate to break it to you, but you were not able to add / remove plugins because these “professionals” think they know better. They either didn’t give you the admin account or added some code to remove the plugins menu. Either way, not only did they take it our of your hands, they also did not provide you with the support you need. No wonder you feel frustrated.
The thing with these web design “professionals” is that most of them are just starting out. However, that doesn’t stop them from charging full-price for sub-par service. Now, don’t get me wrong, if they provide quality work, experience doesn’t matter much and they deserve to be paid for the work; however, if they leave the client feeling the way you do now..well… that’s just plain wrong.
Anyways, most of the work is already done these days. Themes, plugins, templates…you name it…the code is already written and it’s a lot easier to create “professional” websites these days. Perhaps that’s the reason why there are so many – and I quote your words – “snake oil salesmen” in this line of work.
You’re right, you’re much better off spending your time focusing on your business instead of wasting time chasing after – or having to learn how to do – the work you already paid for.
Why is everything so hard to do with WordPress?
Follow this logic:
WordPress is a great content management system
>>> WordPress is extremely flexible
>>> WordPress has a lot of options to suit your needs
>>> WordPress Seems Confusing
>>> WordPress is difficult to understand / learnNow go in reverse!
A manual transmission gives you more control. An Automatic transmission gives you more comfort. WordPress is more or less like a tiptronic transmission. The control is there if you need it, but you can also set it up to be simple and not so complicated.
Your WordPress install will have different menus depending on what plugins you use. You customize it to suit your needs, that’s one of its core strengths
Should you start from scratch?
I don’t know. it depends on what state the website is in.Should you learn webdesign / WordPress basics?
I don’t know, only do it if your interested, or if you think your time is well-spent and translates into actual savings.Sure, you can save hundreds of dollars by creating a website yourself. Can you spare the time? OR are you just being distracted from your actual profession.
You should, however, consider being more critical of who you hire, don’t take anyone’s word for anything. Request proof of previous work. Get referrals from people you trust. Learn how to evaluate a web designer. Search google for “how to evaluate a web design company” and you will see tons of resources.
By the way. Don’t accept any offers on this forum
End of rant.

1- If you feel like you have been ripped off, take legal action. There are a number of law firms that will take on legal matters on a “no win, no fee” basis, also known as a “contingency” basis.

Just look at the amount of people subscribed to these channels. YouTube videos can be monetized.

I checked the website again. Yes, everything is fixed now. The photos are automatically resized to fit the size of the user’s screen. Everything else looks good too.

In reply to: URGENT Please HelpSo I just cheked again and your website seems to be loading the shortcodes just fine, however, the theme appears to be different. and some of the formatting is off.
Make sure you clear your browser cache.
This is what your website looks like on my end now.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: URGENT Please HelpI see a lot of bare shortcodes, that most likely means that whatever plugin you used to construct the page (just guessing here) is not working.
Verify that all your plugins are still active. A plugin will auto-deactivate if it encounters a fatal error.
One or more of your plugins possibly clashed after you updated. (again, just guessing).
