Still not sure where to create a new file and place it in the themes directory? Or do I need to place it in the FTP client database to upload it on the server?

Right on the front page, in the White box areas. The template has links and “read more” icons listed in these areas. If you go to my website: http://www.remotecontrolsystems.com there are three white boxes with headers (Remote Series, Control Series, & Systems Series) and under these red banner headers is where I would like to add links to product pages. There’s not a section called “Widget Admin” in the widget design area. Do you mean, “Page Widget Area?” To the right of the available widgets are six page widgets to place your widgets into to appear on the right column of your website. Listed in this order, Blog Widget Area, Page Widget Area, Testimonials, Footer Left, Footer Middle, & Footer Right.

When I placed the Text widget into the Page Widget Area, there’s no defining area to select where the widget will be located on the website.

I have contacted the developer many times but with little corporation.
I have checked the widgets, but I’m unsure which widget and where to uplaod that widget into what area?
