I guess I’d need to have a parameter that tracks the first 4 posts that have the tag “Feature” and then after that to add any other posts that were not in the slider above that could happen to also have the tag Feature…
Or, as an easier solution, I could just exclude any post that has the tag “Feature” (do you know what would be the code for that?) and make sure that the moderators of the posts never have more than 4 posts tagged with “Feature”. (Not sure if I can count on that)
What would be the call to exclude the posts with that tag:
‘tag’=>”-Feature” or ‘tag__not_in=>”Feature”? perhapsThanks alchymyth!
That seems to have fixed it. I am very glad that I didn’t have to in the query_posts direction.
Any thoughts how I can now prevent from the top 4 posts that are featured in the slider from repeating in the bottom 4 posts?Much appreciated Joe! that worked.
Why that call was taken out of there is beyond me!
IvanI also tried inserting wp_footer() call into the index page and the pop-ups were still not working.
I also looked into the load the event in a page setting, which did work and is currently on but when the event opens, it doesn’t display any of the event details, just the type of the event tag.

I have recently taken on working on this website myself so I’m checking the previous person’s code.
My intention was just to (for now at least) have the events pop up.
The index page calls the footer but not through the wp_footer() call, instead, it’s get_footer(); Would that make a difference?
And I haven’t disabled anything in the Script Editor, I just installed the plugin and created the events. Are things supposed to pop-up be default or do I actually need to go enable them first?
I will look into the page loading option now too.
Again, I appreciate your response. The link is: http://hushmagazine.ca/my-calendar/
Hi Joe
I’d still like to be able to use this plugin if possible.
I have the page back up if you would like to have a look.
The problem of not seeing the events is still there.
Thanks!Hi I have the same problem, did anyone get back to you about this or did you solve the problem?
I just realized this is a flash enabled option. Thanks for all the help again!
That’s the part that confuses me, when I go to “NexGEN Basic Slideshow” tab, I don’t see that option. The reason I know about it is because I saw someone post about it. So I assumed that it was the pro version or something.
Or maybe I have the wrong plugin?
I have “NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati”Here are the options that are there:
Maximum dimensions w / h
Effect
Interval
Image limit
Enable flash slideshow Yes No
Show thumbnail link Yes NoThanks again.

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] Ken Burns effectThanks!
Just to note, in NextGen, the option is called something like “slow zoom option” or something like that. I don’t see it in the free version.
Ah I see thanks tizz
