Tried adding your suggestion and it didn’t work sadly.
Haven’t received a message about .htaccess file
Its strange as I have another blog and the changed permalink works in that one, thats partly why I wondered if it was a 2.9.1 bug as haven’t upgraded it yet.

I hope your getting this.
I worked out why I was having problems. I had the Visitor Like/Dislike Post Rating Plugin installed and active and it seems this was causing the problems. Basically I de-activated all plugins and then tested each one, one by one which is tedious, but in the end I got my blog working again on the latest version.
I hope you both manage to fix your own blogs.

I’m having the same problem.
I wrote a post and scheduled it to publish today, but only the headline published and the entire post was missing – I then tested this posting and scheduling a test post and the same thing happened, only the blog title is posted, but not the actual post body.
Can anyone help? Is this a major bug problem with the upgrade?
