There is the long and short form as you may have guessed.

I am having the same issue as you, my TranslatePress Version is 1.5.9
The issue is happening on the WooCommerce Checkout page when using Stripe for the payment.
Once I select a payment method different than Credit Card, then an Internal Server Error happens and in WooCommerce logs I get:
2019-10-05T22:10:43+00:00 CRITICAL Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in [...]/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/class-translation-manager.php on line 913
