Thank you for your answer. I actually looked for the answer to the question of whether there is automatic compression in Nextgen Gallery.
Normally, I shrink pictures from sites like https://tinyjpg.com/ and throw them into Nextgen Gallery. Can I take this site out of the way and make a gallery directly?
That would be great for preformance.
