Thank you for the report! I didn’t realize that this was something which needed to be included in the Rate Estimate, but that does make sense. The latest update should resolve this issue, and new orders going forward will have this amount described in the Shipping Method line of the Edit Order screen so it’s easy to trace back.
Please try updating the plugin and heading over to the Integration screen to clear the API cache. If you notice any other issues with this update, please let us know and we can investigate further. Have a wonderful weekend!
@sarawill Thanks for the report! It looks like I’ve misinterpreted WP_Error as a normal PHP Exception object. The latest update should resolve this issue.
The root cause of this error seems to be an issue with the API not returning carriers properly. If you’re still using this plugin, we recommend installing the latest version, heading over to the Integration screen (where you set the API Keys), and clearing the API cache. That should tell the system to re-cache the carrier information that the Shipping Zones use to generate the Service Table.

In reply to: [Live Rates for ShipStation] Cannot get any rates@theodotcom Last question is, the products in the cart while you check out, do they have valid Shipping Dimensions set and saved? This can be found when editing a product under Shipping tab (in the Product data metabox). Products do need to have a weight and dimensions set to receive shipping rates.

- Does your shop have a base address set in WooCommerce > Settings > General
- Do you have a valid Shipping Zone setup for Live Rates under Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones it should have a Shipping Method of
ShipStation Rates - Is the checkout saying that no Shipping Options are available, or is it just not displaying? Unfortunately, ShipStation does take a minute to initially populate the Shipping Rates for the system to cache it, so they may not immediately appear on checkout.
If all the above are valid, could share a public link to your website? Do note that by providing a link it would be available and may not be able to be edited out (so we understand if you do not wish to do this, but it is helpful).

That being said, since this does integrate Google ReCaptcha, they may collect their own data for determining spambots. You may see their statement regarding GDPR Compliance below:

To get a better understanding of why this may be happening, could you enable Logging ( via WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > ShipStation > Logging checkbox )? This will output the actual responses from ShipStation under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
After enable logging, could you try to enter you address once more (so that the system can log the request attempt)?
Then, on the Logs page you can click the top-most “live-rates-for-shipstation” link. On this screen, do you see anything that isn’t a code (200)? If so, does it have a message as to why next to the response code?

@superlemon1998 Does it output though?
For me, it does not. It doesn’t output as a selected Product Name or as a Static Value. For me, it just never shows up in the generated XML.
