In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCal calendar events export not workingOk here are my results…
Step 1) Switch to the Twenty Sixteen theme.
Step 2) Disable all plugins except Tribe Events plugins.
Step 3) Clear your browser cache, and retest.
After doing so, it’s still is a problem. So, I guess that means it was not a Themes conflict right?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCal calendar events export not workingHi @tribecari
I believe I’m up to date. I’m running Version: 4.4.1.1 of the Events Calendar. My WP is 4.7.2. The theme name is Rush.
I’ll try and follow the outlined steps and see what I can find.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCal calendar events export not workingThanks @taikuli. We ran the most recent update when it came out. It did make the daily calendar events work in iCal, but not the monthly ones. Looks like they are close, but not there yet.
We tried with different computers and different browsers. Still the same. It seems to download a file, then open iCal and ask which calendar we want to put it in, then goes away. No info is saved or added to the calendar.
I guess we’ll keep checking for the updates to fix it.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Time and Date defaults setAlso, seems that the AM and PM set features have disappeared with one of these last upgrades. Now it’s military time only. Anyway to change that back to 12AM – 12PM settings?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Private Calendar Option?Or…
Is there a way to make a simple monthly view of our events, like the public view here…
http://beintheloopchicago.com/events/2017-02/
That we can color code or highlight as “this show is still available for journalists” or “sorry, this show already spoken for” then when you glance over the monthly view, you can clearly see who or what is taken or available. Then if you click on that event, it brings up that events info BUT has a spot for “staff” info. Like who is assigned to it etc.
Again, sorry for going on with this, but it really would be a great help for us. Thanks again.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Private Calendar Option?Hi @shelbelliott thanks for the info. It is a pretty good event calendar. I’m really liking it. Still have a few bugs in mine, but hope to get those worked out soon.
As far as the private calendar goes, I see what you shared and have used that for certain private events, but what I need to do is somehow make every event listed have a public view and a private view of the same data or information. Or a why to make a second level of the same event not seen by the general public.
Here is what I’m trying to do.
We are a group of photographers and writers. We posted this calendar of events for all our public, fans, show seekers etc to see what up and coming to town via concerts, live events, public appearances etc. That part is great. We can do that, what we need to do next is somehow make it so we can assign these events, shows, public appearances to each other. So we can see who, if anyone is assigned to covering these events.
Ex: U2 is coming to town. They are playing at Soldier Field on June 3rd 2017.

Everyone can see this event. It’s public. We want everyone to be able to see all that basic info. But how can we make it so it can be a “staff” or “employee” calendar? Something that would show all this info, but also have a section or highlight area that states: This show is assigned to John Doe as the Journalist and Jane Doe as the Photographer.
Is that more clear? Sorry I can’t get this in writing as clear as it is in my head. ha
Thoughts?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCal calendar events export not workingHi @taikuli. Thanks for finding the fix, but I’m not sure where I go to solve that problem. Where can I change that line of code? Is there an edit page or customize section I do that in? I can’t see where that can be edited. I’m guessing thats a backend thing but where can I see it as a non developer? Thanks.
