For your second query i.e 3 images and heading instead of 4 images and heading at the bottom of the home page, you just have to follow the screenshot given below.

and also paste the CSS code (given below) in Custom CSS field (Appearance=>Theme Option=>Style Option=>Custom CSS) of your Dashboard.

For your information updated version has interchanged the position of blogs and widget area of the home page..
Actually on the widget part as you seen in your Dashboard by mistake left widget area is mentioned as right widget area over there.
We will update that part as soon as possible.
As per your second query i.e. related to the carousel, it requires some customization in the source code.

It seems that you have already customized your website and using some plugins so that’s why your page would not behave as responsive.
so you should have to use WordPress gallery first.

Also you do not need to change any reading settings at the same time.

Then activate one by one your plugins checking result on each activation,
