Just add a selector for current_page_ancestor in your current_page_item declaration, so that they are styled the same. So, it would be:
.current_page_item,
.current_page_ancestor {
…
}
@gamerz That plugin only does a “scale” rating system (as far as I can tell), not a thumbs up / thumbs down.
I think this one will do the job. It does Digg- and Reddit-style ratings:
