Oh, I forgot to mention – I added the new photo on my FTP rather than uploading it through wordpress, and that did the trick. My new network showed up in the Networks tab.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: when you’re in the Jetpack page that lists all the features, click on Learn More under Omnisearch. Then the deactivate button will appear (I know, it’s not very intuitive).
I had the same issue, but I just went into the Jetpack plugin and deactivated omnisearch. Everything worked after that.
