Do you happen to also have NextGen Pro or Plus installed or NextGen Gallery only?
We are sorry but that doesn’t look like something our plugins controls so, could you please check with the Custom fields plugin author to see if they have any suggestions for you?
NextGen Gallery loads Lato font from the local plugin’s files so that shouldn’t be against EU-DSGVO rules.

You can hide the counter from Simplelightbox adding this custom CSS rule to “Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS”:
.sl-wrapper .sl-counter { display: none !important; }- This reply was modified 3 years, 11 months ago by Imagely.

Hi @fivage,
This parameter is unofficially supported only by a couple of gallery display types. Unfortunately, none of the free gallery display types make use of it.
Correctly displayed. If the images aren’t correctly displayed within Manage Galleries even though re-uploading them, try lowering their size and re-upload again.
Ok, I think I’ve found a gallery page where these aren’t correctly loading but it appears that the image files themselves aren’t correctly rendered so it’s not a gallery display type issue. If the images aren’t properly rendered within “Manage Galleries”, please try re-uploading them to see if that’ll help.
Thanks @zander01,
These appear to render fine for us both on mobile and desktop but they may take some time to completely load since each of the slideshow is a gallery containing many images so respectively, these can render partially as the page loads and should display properly once the page is completely loaded.
We are sorry but we couldn’t find any NextGen galleries on your site’s Homepage. Could you please let us where to look in order to replicate the issue?
Thanks
Thanks for the heads-up @gsgmcmxcii.
We have already reported this mistranslation to our dev team and we look forward to have it corrected in one of the upcoming NGG updates. In the meantime, you can use a localization plugin such as Loco Translate to modify this string for your own site.
Sorry for the confusion created
Hi @uroveits,
Could you please re-install NextGen Gallery plugin to see if that’ll change anything? As long as we are aware, the issue with incorrectly displaying German Umlauts got solved in the far past with no other re-occurrences. We’ve also tested on our sites and it appears that such words as Übersetzen or Löschen within “Plugins” were correctly displayed.
Having all of the plugins deactivated excepting NextGen Gallery plugin to see if the issue persists would be another thing worth checking.

Sure. You can choose a preview image for your albums from “NextGen Gallery -> Manage Albums”, select the album, click on “Edit Album” button, select the preview image, press “OK” then “Update” buttons.
