Thank you for getting back to me, yes I also checked the PHP line and seemed fine to me. I struggled for a few hours to try and make it work but failed (maybe a clash with the theme? I’m using salient theme) so ended up uninstalling the plugin and came up with a ‘solution’ by adding a content restriction plugin and a form (won’t allow users to view the content on the page unless registered) once they register thay can submit their story by completing a simple form.
