In reply to: [Customizr] Remove comment from static homepageThanks for the info guys, it helped understand what was going on. I’ve now disabled in all the pages using the quickedit option, not ideal but as long as I understand what happens and why I’m okay with that.
Cheers and thanks again

In reply to: [Customizr] Remove comment from static homepageI’ve also cleaned the cache and checked Discussion area – it’s as it should be so the only change has been the customizr update to 3.3.15 which is now not picking up the Enable comments on page = false (unchecked).
The part in question that’s now unfortunately active starts with
<div id=”comments” class=”comments-area”>Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] Remove comment from static homepageI’ve got the same problem after the update a few minutes ago
Leave Comments now appears on every page regardless of the Customizr setting in Content -> Comments > Other Comment Setting > Enable comments on page.
i.e. it’s not respecting the disable setting any more.Which is a pain since it’s a website where I don’t want any comments at all.
It only seems to happen with the customizr child theme.
I loaded completely new child files i.e. they just have the comments at the top with no additions to them to prove to myself it was nothing I’d done wrt. function or style change.
The child theme is therefor active but nothing has been added tp or overridden from the from the original customiser theme. But image editing doesn’t work.As soon as I remove these files – even though they have no content, the image editing works properly just like the standard customizr theme does when it is active. This makes sense as you say since it should just revert to the parent and it should work, and it does.
As soon as a function.php and style.css are saved into the customizr-child theme folder and it is made the active theme, then image editing does’t work. It’s perplexing.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] Adding Background image to header not responsiveThanks for providing the link, looks a bit complicated at first glance but I’ll have a go.
