In reply to: home tab points to localhostHi I used safe search and replace to change all instances of localhost and while that stopped it pointing to localhost/mysite it now points to
http//www.mysite.com instead of http://mysite.com
So I did safe search and replace again but hasn’t appeared to change enything. But one thing I noticed is that while in the web brower it appears to be http//www.mysite.com when I coppied and pasted it directly into notepad it came out as http://http//www.newtononline.org.uk/

In reply to: What do you think?Hi Mike I thought your sight look really good, in fact had it not been that it was wordpress.com and the blog menus I would have thought I was on a website.
What you blog about isn’t my cup of tea either lol I’ve never been able to play console/computer games so I can’t comment on the content. I suppose as a gamer you know what you would want from a gaming review site 🙂
I’m not sure whether this is appropriate but the list you have created with links to all the games you have reviewed could you list them alphabetically too in case someone is looking for a review on a specific game? Just a thought 🙂

I think the advertising is good not too intrusive.
On the hotels pages I prefer the first two links that take you direct to the hotel post on the other site rather than the last one which takes you to the areas posts.
The only little negative for me is that in places it is a bit wordy and isn’t very visually appealing. Particulary the Explore pages that talk about the rich history of the place – they are very, very wordy and could do with some images.
I particularly like the way the advertising doesn’t detract from the information. The side bar looks neat and tidy. Nice one 🙂Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Help new siteI think your site looks good, clean and easy to navigate. If there were more jobs in Greater Manchester (Tameside) I would put a link to it on our website and facebook but it would need to have considerably more jobs.
From what I understand links in to your site is one of the ways to increase traffic.
