Hi @knoepert, sorry that you feel like that. I just came from a long trip so it takes some time to go over all emails and support (because I am the only one working on it).
To answer your question, it does not create a user account. Each giveaway is a separate content to which someone has to subscribe to. I might look into making subscribers that were activated on another giveaway to become active without confirmation.

AMP wont work with that since they are using a different templating language and I am not sure if it would work at all. But I will fix the issue you see and then try to enable the live part in AMP as well.

this was done to this plugin, not to Simple Sponsorships as there is no such shortcode. It’s a different one.
I did not see those extra paragraph elements in the HTML output when I was working on it. I’ll check it once more to be sure.

I am working on the 3.1.0 version where the widget will also use the image size for the horizontal display. The horizontal display will still apply the style (as it was in older versions) so images will have the height of 100px but will use the selected size.
With that 100px height in horizontal, we are making sure to have them all aligned correctly. I’ll play a little with CSS and might have a different height here.

it is still unclear what do you mean by activating only one team? What does “activate” mean to you? I am not aware of any Team Activation in SportsPress.
Which page have you refreshed? The Team Page or some other page? Do note that we don’t show anything on the Team Page itself.
By “livescore”, do you mean enabling the integration of the free service or the plugin itself?
Answers on these questions might help me debug this issue better and find a solution.

Not sure about the background color for categories but I could put a class formed from the category name if you would like that? Can you explain me more how you see that option to work, so I can know what to do?
As for the columns, I’ll check that also.
I plan to make this available as a Gutenberg block as well so it should be even easier to create such layout.

As for the “post of the sponsor”, you mean to not link the sponsor to their own page on your site? That’s also not an option, but I’ll see to add it.

the live parts can be set to be used for calculating current minutes. For example, for the football, it can be used for First Half, Second Half, Extra Time and such.
Each part is then displayed on the match edit page (admin area) and there you can set that the match has started. Depending on the status of other live parts, the minutes will be shown there. Unless the match has ended (and that button was clicked), then it won’t show minutes.
The other thing is that if the match is currently ongoing, when a result has been changed, it will update on the front page.

what do you mean by activating one team? Do you mean when saving settings for live parts?
As this plugins does not add those elements that you have mentioned in the message, maybe that’s an issue with something else? Can you confirm if that happens even if “Live Scores for SportsPress” is deactivated?

sorry if you felt like that. It was not meant to be arrogant, just tried to explain it why it works how it works (just in case someone does not understand that; had some clients in the past).
Could you let me know the original image sizes, if you have that information, with those that you have problems with?
I have tried using it and it worked on every image I had, so maybe there is an issue with how WP decides which image to show for a particular range of sizes or width/height ratios?

that’s how WordPress works with images. If the image is uploaded in a lower size, it can’t create a larger image from it (no image code library that I can think of can do that through code).
As for the full image size, I set the ‘full’ to the image size, but WordPress code decides which image to show. The full and thumbnail are probably close to each other so it uses the thumbnail.
What are the sizes of the images that you have problems with?
