In reply to: [Wordbooker] [Plugin: Wordbooker] duplicate comment posting to FBFYI, I’ve since un-approved the comment in question and deleted all the extra ones, but I’d still like to know a) what happened and b) how to stop it from happening again.

In reply to: PHP warning about plugin.php What does it mean and what should I doWas just getting around to posting about that very thing. The guy I bought my theme from was kind enough to solve the issue. He said it has to do with how some servers are configured, and he sent me a new file that works on our site. I haven’t had a chance to compare the old and new to see how he solved the problem, but I will post that as soon as I can.

In reply to: I’ve been hacked and can’t access my phpadminThanks. Actually it turns out this was just a symptom of a larger problem. We were actually hacked by somebody calling themselves ISLAMIC GHOSTS TEAM
At least, that’s the message that came up when I tried to access my PHPAdmin.
At any rate, we’ve been able to restore things, and I do appreciate the help. I sure wish these idiots would find a different hobby, though.

In reply to: changing the default text in the category dropdown“Performer” would be fine, too… doesn’t much matter. It’s simply a way to help the user get to the content, since “category” is basically an irrelevant word to the user.

No judging, because I’m just getting started, okay? 🙂
I’m using the theme “the erudite.”
But I don’t think that has anything to do with it. I’m wanting only to change how the user sees the content. Behind the scenes, we can call them “categories” but for the user, “artist” will have more relevancy. Does that make sense?

In reply to: Change the select category textHi, I posted a similar question, but I’m quite a bit newer to this… would anyone care to walk me through, step-by-step as though I were a bit more ignorant?
